April 16: Chipeta and Ouray in the Uncompahgre Valley. Learn about the history of the Utes in the Uncompahgre Valley. Runs through July 5th.
July 8: Photo exhibit "San Juan Memories", $5 per photo entry fee, ribbon winners from the past may not submit the same image this year, entries due by June 24, no more than three entries by any one artist. Juried first place prize - $75, Juried 2nd place prize - $50, Juried 3rd place prize - $25. Peoples Choice Award - $25. Contact museum for details. Runs through August 19th.
July 25: Quilter's Tea 2010, 3:00 pm, at Venue Roscoe Fox, 539 Main Street, Ouray. Victorian theme, "hats admired but not required.
Presentation on OCHS Raffle Quilt by Sue Hillhouse. Refreshments served, $5 admission.
August 3: Book signing and reception, 7:00 pm, at Venue Roscoe Fox, 539 Main Street, Ouray for the new book, "Ouray." An inside look at this historic photo journey by local authors Gail Zanett Saunders and Maria Jones. Refreshments, free. Book sales benefit Ouray County Historical Society.
August 24th: Ouray Historic Hotels Exhibit. Learn the history of Ouray's numerous Victorian hotels. Runs through November 20th.
August 28: OCHS Presents its Fifth Annual Vignettes of History 2010. The Legendary Ladies present "Velvet Secrets." This award winning, dedicated troupe of women performs across the state promoting the history of famous and unique women of the West.
