Summary: Dear readers: Now in my seventies, and after taking more than a decade to find my voice, From Tokyo to Telluride is written as I listened closely to the ten-year-old inner child who has gradually come forth. From age eight on, I have moved constantly, living in different countries except for the somewhat settled years when that voice was harbored within a young married wife and mother of four, muffled by circumstances and the effort to fulfill the prescribed roles of the 1950s.
