Albert Schneider, at left, friend of Frank Massard, Ouray High School graduate, soldier, and businessman. Al and Frank bought and operated the Post Office Drug Store at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Main Street in 1920. Frank and Al operated that same store for forty-three years before retiring.

Frank Massard, at right, Ouray native son. Frank graduated from Ouay High School in 1916. He was later a soldier in World War I. After the war he returned to Ouray. He and his childhood friend, Al Schneider, went into business together. Courtesy Ouray County Historical Society
