The Hiebler building stands tall in a July snowstorm. Thomas Hiebler built a stylish two-story brick building on lot 18 of this block in 1889. At first, he had a wholesale liquor store on the main floor. Later he opened the Cabinet Club House there. Courtesy Ouray County Historical Society
